I have several tables in a Word document. The rows in the first table will break across pages just fine. In between the 1st and 2nd tables, is about a paragraph or so of text. Only the header shows up for the second table. The first row after the header is being displayed on the next page. I should add that the row has a lot of text in it. with a trackpad, a 'hard click' bottom left (and hold that click) will make the selected rows appear to lift off the page;

drag the selection away to create a new table.

This works also with columns and a rectangle of selected cells.

If I remember correctly, it also works in earlier versions of Pages and Numbers, but I am unable to test.

With a mouse, there may be a way to 'lift and drag' but my mouse died and I am unable to test.
