How To Add New Mouth Shapes In Papagayo For Mac

This is a short video to demonstrate the new Adobe After Effects javascript I wrote. This javascript reads the MOHO.dat file format, generated by the open source Papagayo software. The work flow is simple. You import your voice over audio track into Papagayo and do your initial voice synch using that tool. After finding the Shape Model, all training data objects are deformed to the main shape, and the pixels converted to vectors. Then PCA is used to find the mean appearance (intensities), and variances of the appearance in the training set. Both the Shape and Appearance Model are combined with PCA to one AAM-model. In Papagayo your frames per second needs to be 25. Video shows you are using 24. 25 frames translates into.04 timing grid which is what Papagayo to LOR program expects. Yes papagayo was not written for long files. It does not display correctly on the end of long waves. Papagayo Beach Club’s ambience sets the ideal mood for our guests to enjoy their stay. Our weekly specials provide the perfect blend of experiences, which expose them to all that the island of Curacao has to offer.

Ok, I've just gotten through learning Anime Studio Pro. It's like Toon Boom. I've been wanting to learn how to do character animation for a while and Motion is not the perfect solution. Cool thing with Anime Studio is the 'bone' structure so you can build and manipulate characters and design custom 'actions' to do common things.
Phenome Lip-Sync (exact mouth move matches) is done through an external program, either Magpie or Papagayo. Papagayo is free, but REALLY limited. But it basically makes a .dat file which consists of list of keyframe/frame positions and a corresponding 'switch-layer.' Makes it very easy to program lip moves quickly and send to Anime Studio Pro, or After Effects, Maya... etc.
My question is this : This concept of a switch layer is really powerful: Is there a way to do this in Motion?
FYI : A switch layer is like a group with a number of layers/drawings in it. Only one can be visible at a time. SO you can click on one and the others will all not be visible. Perfect for lip moves or expressions, hand positions, etc.
Motion seems to be limited to having to keyframe the opacity of EVERY other layer to do this.
