How To Open Iso On Sheepshaver Mac

Set the MacOSROM and 9.0.4 ISO to Read-only. Right click, go to Properties, then check Read-only, then click OK. Open SheepShaver.exe in the SheepShaver folder and click Create. SheepShaver is an open source emulator of PowerPC based Macintosh computers. Using SheepShaver it is possible to emulate a Macintosh computer capable of running Mac OS 7.5.2 through 9.0.4. Drop your CD image file of a Mac OS installation CD on the SheepShaver Wrapper. If the file is in the correct format, and is bootable, SheepShaver will boot from the image file. (If the image file is not 'locked,' which it must be if the Mac OS is to be installed from it, the SheepShaver Wrapper will offer to lock it for you.). Inside Mac OS, open the installer disk image (now mounted) created in step (5) and click on the SMI file. Accept the terms and conditions. You may choose to skip the disk verification. A folder named 7.0.1 (1440k images) should be shown on desktop. Open the empty disk image mouted in Mac OS, and copy the entire folder in step 9 over. Once you are emulating Mac OS, open Amber. Then look at the top bar, you should be able to use the menu to open collections or make a new one. If you wish to edit collections, I suggest placing them in a SIT while on Windows. Then drag that SIT into your mac os hard drive. Expand it by double clicking.

For PowerMac G3 install, while the installer uses the special code to detect the Power Mac G3 to install, it's possible to install this software in other computers .
